ERIC "HOLY CRAB" - PAINTING EXHIBITION

Eric is a German tattoo artist and painter who will be visiting Warsaw Tattoo Convention for the very first time. Earlier this year, however, he had the opportunity to visit Poland to take part in the Kraków-based Tattoofest. His work draws strong inspiration from the rich traditions of Japanese visual culture. Working primarily with bold colours and watercolour-inspired techniques, he creates intricate compositions populated by original characters influenced by Japanese legends, folklore, and traditional beliefs. 

One of the most distinctive elements of his artistic universe is the recurring presence of frogs, which appear as the protagonists of his stories. Through them, Eric connects the world of traditional tales with imaginative fantasy, creating artworks filled with expression, movement, and emotion. 

Whether working on canvas or skin, Eric builds captivating worlds where humour, nostalgia, technical mastery, and storytelling come together.
